About Me
I’m a screenwriter, author, and proud Ink Rebel—a self-taught storyteller who traded decades as a 9-to-5 secretary for a second act in screenwriting and creative writing. I’m not classically trained, but I am relentlessly curious, having learned the craft through workshops, mentorships, courses, and sheer persistence.
I’m currently seeking literary representation for my screenplays and industry partners aligned with bold, female-driven stories. I’m developing multiple projects, including:
A Christmas Curveball – a holiday rom-com blending Japanese and American traditions, complete with baseball, romance, and a touch of holiday magic (guided by mentorship from Joany Kane, creator of Hallmark’s The Christmas Card).
The Last Velvet Rope – a dual-timeline drama inspired by my co-authored book about Sunny Sund, the forgotten woman behind the Don the Beachcomber empire, weaving mob intrigue, Old Hollywood glamour, and a modern-day fight for legacy.
ZoomLandia: You’re Muted – a tech-driven thriller about top influencers trapped on an island, with an AI in control. It’s out for revenge—and learned from the best: us.
My work lives at the intersection of nostalgia, bold female leads, and the quiet (and not-so-quiet) ways women reclaim power. I gravitate toward stories that break rules—whether it’s blending genres, resurrecting forgotten legacies, or injecting a bit of dark humor into heartfelt moments.
When I’m not writing, I’m probably on Facebook posting cat memes or brainstorming my next idea over a strong cup of coffee—or two.
